Colorado Cyber also offers your student the opportunity to choose a hybrid learning option. Students can be dually enrolled in Colorado Cyber and any other Douglas County school. The school in which the student is in attendance the majority of the time will be his or her primary enrollment.
There are many different reasons why a student may choose the hybrid learning option. Some examples include:
- A fifth grade Douglas County elementary student needs an accelerated math class but is unable to travel to a Douglas County middle school. This student can take an online math course during his or her regular math time at the elementary school.
- An elementary school student enrolled full-time in Colorado Cyber wants to participate in art and music specials at the neighborhood elementary school.
- An eighth grade neighborhood middle school student needs an upper-level Spanish class but isn’t able to travel to the high school. He or she can take this course online.
- A full-time Colorado Cyber middle school student who wants to take band, drama or vocal music classes can enroll in these courses at the neighborhood middle school.
Colorado Cyber's hybrid learning option lets you and your student enjoy learning flexibility and choices. Whether a student needs extra help or the extra challenge of higher-level classes, a combination of online and classroom learning can make the difference in his or her education.
