High School CSAP

As a public school, all students enrolled in grades 3 through 10 participate in the Colorado State Assessment Program (CSAP) during the state-mandated timeframe. Student grade level rather than course level determines the level of standardized testing. This set of tests assesses students’ grade-level knowledge of reading, writing and math.

All testing times, dates and locations – including testing information for students enrolled – will be communicated to parents by their teachers. Colorado Cyber will provide as much notice as possible to facilitate family scheduling and planning. We will attempt to schedule the tests on two to three consecutive days to cut down on driving time. When CSAP testing dates are announced, they can be found on our school calendar. The test usually takes place in February or March. Families are strongly encouraged to be available during the entire CSAP testing window.

The data collected from standardized assessments is used in a number of ways by parents, teachers and in the evaluation of the effectiveness of our program. All individual results are also provided to the parent(s) of each student.
