Tech Support

All technology issues surrounding the online school should be reported to eDCSD academic advisors and then to the assigned homeroom teacher. It is important that the parent and the homeroom teacher communicate as soon as a technical problem occurs to reduce the impact on student learning. eDCSD does not provide network or hardware support.

In the event students or teachers find issues with the content of their course (broken links, etc.), please email edcsd.tech@dcsdk12.org.

The Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA) was signed into law in 2000. This law requires that computers students use for learning must include filtering software to block Internet access for children to materials that are obscene, contain child pornography, or are deemed harmful to minors. Given that eDCSD is not providing computers to families as a rule, we wanted to provide a list of free software parents might utilize to limit student access.
